$100 and $150 Rebates Are Available for ENERGY STAR, Refrigerator and Washing Machine Purchases
The DC Energy Office (DCEO) is offering $100 and $150 rebates on ENERGY STAR rated clothes washers and refrigerators to all DC electric customers. The ENERGY STAR program promotes energy efficiency. Electric customers that live in the District of Columbia can receive a $150 rebate on an ENERGY STAR rated washing machine, and a $100 rebate on an ENEGY STAR rated refrigerator.
Washing machines must be purchased between June 1, 2006 and May 31, 2007 in order to be eligible. Refrigerators must be purchased between April 13, 2006 and May 31, 2007 in order to be eligible.
